Collaborative Communication
online training program:
What is Collaborative Commnication?
We all struggle to act with grace and as the best version of ourselves at times. When we feel threatened, unheard, or frustrated we make unconscious decisions that can hurt relationships and our chances of getting what we want.
Science understands the physiological changes that prevent us from being who we’d like to be in these challenging moments. And it understands how to move past them.
The Collaborative Communication workshop exposes two simple principles that will allow you to improve your collaboration with anyone, strengthen relationships, and get more of what you want.
What you get:
4 laser-focused, live online 1-hour training sessions
maximum 5 other participants ensures you get personal attention
benefit from interaction with the other group members
1-on-1 access to Rich to discuss application of your learning to your day-to-day for the duration of the program
Clear, actionable summaries of each week’s material
We will cover one big idea in each session. You will have plenty of time to understand the topic of the week, to review case studies,
and to practice with the other participants. You will leave with small but powerful actions to practice in the week before the next session.
What past clients are saying:
“I would highly recommend this workshop, not only to artists but to anyone struggling with negotiation. Rich has a natural skill for storytelling, and added a lot of humour too, which put the students at ease and created a nice rapport throughout.”

“Rich's workshop gave me clear, precise, and powerful tools that I can use in so many areas of my life, both professionally and personally. Plus, Rich created a great atmosphere in the workshop and everyone enjoyed it thoroughly!”

Your instructor
I’m Rich Coburn. I have spent more than 15 years navigating the world of collaborations and networking in my freelance career as a pianist, vocal coach, and organist. But I’m naturally somewhat introverted and conflict avoidant. I didn’t know how to build the relationships my career needed to thrive. I didn’t know how to negotiate or collaborate when others had objectives different from mine. And my career suffered for it.
Today I am trained in civil and commercial mediation, and am an avid student of human interaction and communication. I’ve negotiated a 2x fee increase with people who previously refused to even discuss a raise. I love going to networking events, even though I’m still an introvert. And I want to share the secret I’ve learned: you are immensely more powerful when you communicate collaboratively with the other. That is, when you stand beside them and attack the problem together. I want you to learn to do this too.
Do you want in?
Are you ready to dive into the inner workings of human communication, and unlock the ability to communicate better with anybody? The next session begins on Tuesday April 21st! Session timing is flexible to accommodate the timezones of the participants.
Program cost: $499 CAD
I am so confident that you will love what you learn that I am happy to offer you a no-questions-asked 6 month money-back guarantee! If you completed all of the training sessions and attempted the exercises and you still feel that you didn’t get the value you paid for, simply send me a note explaining how you feel. I will gladly refund the full price of the training.
Please note, you will not change the way you interact from others from listening to these training sessions alone. Just like any other skill you need to practice regularly. But if you have done that—and I’ll believe you if you say you have—then I promise that you will see results starting to pop up all over your life!
If you are excited to unleash your power to communicate strongly with anyone, but due to the pandemic-which-shall-not-be-named you have a reduced or unreliable income, please contact me and briefly explain your situation.
It is my goal to help everyone who wants to be a better communicator. We will work something out that is reasonable for both of us.
